ABOUT US
LenselinQ was founded in 2013 by Martijn and Chris to give a platform to small wineries that work with respect for nature and produce pure wines. What started with wine subscriptions from home grew into a store, and in 2019 we started our wine bar. In 2024, we took the next step by opening our renewed store and aperitif bar, where our delicious snacks are also served.
LenselinQ imports directly from carefully selected winemakers in Austria, Italy, Spain, France, and the islands of Mallorca, Sicily, and Sardinia. We consider LenselinQ our “mom and pop business”. As a couple, parents of two children, and running the business, home and work are so intertwined that LenselinQ is also our home.
Chris is a wonderful cook who loves working with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. She cherishes the decor, atmosphere, and identity of the establishment. Martijn, in addition to having extensive wine knowledge, has a knack for finding special wines and winemakers. He is our storyteller and, as host, the cheerful face of the business.

The wines we import from our winemakers are made naturally, with great respect for nature. Wine remains a natural product where each year’s harvest brings unique flavors and aromas. Each wine carries a personal story: that of the winemaker and his family, the grape, the climate, and the soil type. At LenselinQ, we love to share these stories because drinking a glass of wine at LenselinQ is a complete experience.
Wine Shop
You are warmly welcome in our cozy wine shop in the center of Rotterdam. Here you will find our wines in a constantly changing selection. Our winemakers work on a small scale and make wine as nature gives it to them. This means that one year’s quantity may be higher or lower than the previous year’s. This makes our assortment dynamic and challenging for Martijn, who always finds wines and winemakers who remain true to their vineyards without any concessions. It is our task to introduce you to special wines that match your unique taste preferences. The wine shop is adjacent to our aperitif bar, where you can also drink all our wines by the glass.
Looking for wine and food pairing advice, a wine gift, or a business gift? We can help with that too. You are assured of unique wines because they are not sold anywhere else in the Netherlands.
Aperitif Bar
Because we missed a place in Rotterdam where you could go for a really good glass of wine, fresh snacks, and a homely atmosphere, we started such a bar ourselves. A cozy place where good wine is central, and delicious, local cooking takes place. A place to go before dinner, for a glass of wine after work, or as a meeting spot with friends. Sink into one of the couches, put on a record, and enjoy the hospitality.
Our snacks are homemade with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Ideal for sharing, as a small bite with the wine, or to fill the table with your company, accompanied by a good glass of wine and just enjoy. We collaborate with Hoeve Biesland, Booij Kaasmakers, Clark Fermentations, Gannabakery, and Odin.
We regularly organize events in the aperitif bar around our winemakers, such as ‘Meet the Winemaker’. During a masterclass or a lazy Sunday lunch, you get to know the winemaker who tells you all about the vineyards, the winemaking process, the influence of weather conditions, the peculiarities of the grapes, and much more. In our newsletters, we keep you informed about which winemakers you can get to know better soon.
